I want (need) to know EVERYTHING!
 

Sooo... two years back I almost began production on a members area for my website. I didn't go ahead because 1: I didn't have enough time to spend on it and 2: I didn't have the right software/equipment. (And 3: I wasn't that popular but nobody needs to know that!) :1orglaugh

Anyway, I'm back on the scene and wow, things have changed! Sites these days offer so much more. I have had numerous offers on getting a paysite up, but what I really want is to run and own it myself. That way I control every aspect of it and can do whatever the hell I like.

:helpme Anyway, what would be the best hosting solution for such a website? Where can I get software (without paying cuz I don't have a dollar to my name) that will make it more interactive: ie: web based video chats with members? And how do I do all that affiliates crap and hosted galleries and POTDs and such and such? And the biggest question of all: how do I get it so that if I scedule a chat at, say 9pm on a friday night (for me) others around the world will see it as their own time? If anyone could help me I would very much appreciate it...

And remember, I'm a wannabe webmistress who also wants to star in her own site :thumbsup . To see the kinda stuff I'd have just visit my website which is somewhere in my profile.

Hmm, I would assume that the best anybody could help you around here (if your as newb as you say) would be to hire somebody to do it for you. Because the stuff is really very complicated, ESPECIALLY if your a beginner. You should prolly hook up with those people who are giving you numerous offors, because the absolute fact is that two or three people working can accomplish a lot more than just yourself... But anyways good luck on your site!

I've really gotta say having pictures of your son up in your gallery area, when your targeting an adult male audience is pretty fucked up.

with the paysite game it takes dollars to make dollars...you're fucked if you've got nothing at all to invest... I mean how would you even cover visa for your payment processor??

Better statring off as an affiliate trying to sell sites similar to yours, if you can make those sales - you'll have some cash to invest and you'll become much more knowledgable on how to sell your own site.

i have to say you look good. If you want to give up running and owning everything yours self then i think we can help you out setting up everything that you need without you paying one dollar to start. But then again you will not own everything your self.

If you want to do that all by your self and you have no money then you can forget. I have been on the web for years and i never found a good free members area script that can meet the needs of an adult site. And then not getting started about what you all need to know to even setup a site to start making money.

Yeah I know, that's why I'm in the process of making my son his OWN site. My website enigmum.com actually caters to a broader audience, not just adult males. Everything is a bit of a mess but you can bet that my gallery in enigmum won't have adult-orientated pics. Everything will be in the paysite. That's why I want to make it!

Thanks for all your help, a little dissapointing that it will be so expensive but it doesn't matter, I'm pretty sure I can get certain things sorted like money and stuff :1orglaugh And maybe I will take up on offers after all.
