Daughter spilled cereal. Will meet out her punishment by having her watch Poltergeist

Then she will have to stay in her room by herself (with the TV on, cable disconnected)

I'm not the type of parent who will spank his children. Any parent who does that should be reported to the child protection authorities.

My method are hands off and makes a point.

How do you meet out punishment to your kids?

Well, she's 6  I think old enough to understand what 'monsters' are. I would have her see the blair witch project http://www.amazon.com/Blair-Witch-Pr...qid=1160709283
but the movie was so slow and tedius.

The TV with snow parts of Poltergeist can be reproduced easily at home :thumbsup

We also settle it on a heart-to-heart conversation..

Panky 10-12-2006 09:01 PM

Are you seriously that bored that you need to make posts like this? Even if it has just the slightest bit of truth to it, God forbid a kid spills cereal. What would that punishment teach a kid anyway? People wonder why kids are screwed up.

marketsmart 10-12-2006 09:05 PM

stop with the threads

The Demon 10-12-2006 09:06 PM

IF you want to teach her a lesson by making her watch a movie, I suggest the Hills Have Eyes. She'll never spill cereal again.

reynold 10-12-2006 09:39 PM

Well, looks like an effective parenting method for me. Wishing the best things for your kids. :)

JaneB 10-12-2006 11:31 PM

Please tell me you are joking. Take some parenting classes.
