The Early Bird gets it all on Curacao... preshow coverage, cheers
 

The early bird arrivals for the 6th annual IslandGathering.com were lucky birds.

Met at the airport by a team of Paycom.net representatives, our luggage was immediately taken care of, transportation was there and ready to go, and attendees were met at the resort by trays of tropical drinks, express check-in that took only minutes and a happy hour that was waiting our arrival.

Over 30 attendees came early which says a lot about the show itself.

Casual happy hour chats that I had with many turned into business opportunities with companies such as CapitalBucks.com, Python, 2bet.com, LionDollars.com, Interclimax.com, and more.

And the show hasn?t even started yet. The relaxed evening of apps and open bar and even wine tasting flowed into a morning of poolside relaxation where casual conversation peppered with more business was being conducted over early drinks and noshes. Some people went into town, others snorkeled, slept in, even hopped online.

But the best moment would have to be Morgan from Cybersocket.com. Coming off the successful Cybersocket Awards last week, Morgan seemed to conduct all his business and relaxation, while lounging in the pool since early morning. He is still in the pool, its 7pm :thumbsup

Morgan?s example of play and business is exactly the balance that the Paycom.net crew, and Klixxx.com crews had in mind for hosting the show.

A bit of humidity and tropical rain came and went faster than Lindsey from LionDollars.com could drink a drink.

It added to the ambience of truly being on a tropical island with pristine blue waters and music of the isles playing in the background as even a pre gathering day at this year?s show, brought business just by simply being here.

I look forward to the official gathering beginning this evening with Happy Hour, opening dinner and party, and probably, even if you are not looking for it, more business opportunities will probably be on the menu.

KimmyKim summed the pre day up best: ?Curacao is one of the best shows, if not THE best show that there is.? I concur.
