Would you wear a parachute????

If you had a choice and rights to wear a parachute on a plane, would you? Hell ya i would!!!!! I really believe that parachutes an save lives....even while a plan in crashing....what do you think?

BV 10-12-2006 02:14 AM

i think they should just have a couple big parachutes attached to the plane
maybe some quick inflating helium balloons also

Love Brokers 10-12-2006 02:18 AM

And how do you propose to eject yourself from a passneger jet doing 500 MPH at 30 thousand feet?

StickyGreen 10-12-2006 02:19 AM

it's really impractical (sp?) but i guess i would if they were available and not too uncomfortable lol...

Scott McD 10-12-2006 02:22 AM

First snakes on a plane, now parachutes on a plane... :1orglaugh

StickyGreen 10-12-2006 02:23 AM

i got a better idea. instead of parachutes on a plane, how bout guys with some actual balls on a plane that won't let some arab motherfuckers with little boxcutters take control of it lol...

reynold 10-12-2006 02:26 AM

Yes. A parachute and an exit hole for each seat.

polish_aristocrat 10-12-2006 02:27 AM

no idea about parachutes but Im all for increasing the safety of plane passengers

Lacerto 10-12-2006 02:28 AM

Psh, that's too paranoid. An airline would never endorse that because it's kind of like saying "Yeaaaaaa you might want to grab that parachute along with your boarding pass"

polish_aristocrat 10-12-2006 02:28 AM

but the problem lies in the $$$$

air travel is very safe already so noone really feels the need to make it even more safer and noone would want to pay for it ( directly or indirectly )

that would be great :thumbsup

well seeing as you only have a 1 in 8million chance of getting killed in a plane accident , you have more of a chance getting struck by lightning rather then dying a plane crash , so pherhaps you sould walk around with a ligthing rod and grounding cable sticking out of your ass

when it gets to 10,000 feet and only a few hundred MPH ? Hey there has been many airplane crashes which seems like if the passenger had parachutes, some might have survived if they jumped with parachutes?

Ahhhhh sooooo. Not only will the passengers be equiped with a parachute, but also an altimeter of some type and an air speed indidator than will be capable of measuring the airspeed of an aircraft from inside the passenger cabin to alert individuals when it reaches a safe altitude and speed to leap out while the aircraft nose dives, spirals, etc. towards this Island Earth. I'll buy that!:1orglaugh :thumbsup

You gave me a chuckle for the night. Just fucking around with the subject matter. No malice intended in my answers.:thumbsup

DigitalPimp 10-12-2006 02:56 AM

actually they make some smaller planes with parachutes. That one that crashed in NY yesterday had one but for some reason it was never pulled.

hahaha....i love to read the responses to threads this late at night :winkwink:

ps; the pilot can also scream from the top of his lungs as soon as the hit 10,000 feet...just like skydiving?.....

" JUMMMMMMMPPPPPPP " lol

justsexxx 10-12-2006 03:06 AM

I'm scared of flying...I do it, but I don't feel very comfy at all :)

A parachute would be nice, but when plane is about to crash, it's often to late anyway...And also when it goes 500KM/H it's kinda impossible to jump :)

What about those capsules they use in spaceshuttles...You go in it, and when the plane crashes/burns you are very safe in that capsule....

Maybe a broken leg or so, but that is about it....

Hmmm :)

DWB 10-12-2006 03:07 AM

Nope.

But I was in a little plane in the DR once (for 6 people) and they had them on board... just in case.

Godsmack 10-12-2006 03:47 AM

I think every passenger should have an ejection seat! :thumbsup

Adultnet 10-12-2006 04:10 AM

I think it could be nice to have some thing for everyone .. like one big ejection system would do the work :)

PlugRush Sascha 10-12-2006 04:24 AM

I'd wear it. Dun, dun, dun.

well see, small planes should have it for sure and the larger ones i really think its possible to jump out as the plane is going down and gets to 10,000 feet at around 300 mph....am i the only one who feels thats its possible or what?
