Male content for hetero women: The goth issue

Obviously female goth content does very well in its niche market and the typical "hunk" does well for female traffic.

And by "hunk" I mean short hair and muscular on average.

Here's an issue that arose for me lately; one of my regular readers of The Smut Lady contacted me and wanted to know why there isn't more variety of male content available to hetero female porn consumers.

She e-mails me but never leaves comments on the blog. For some reason, that bugs me. :1orglaugh

I asked her what she wanted. I told her, if it was out there, I'd try to find it for her (after signing up with their program of course :winkwink: )

She wants, "hot guy goths and rocker types."

I feel her on that one. I also find long haired, tattooed rocker types hotter than the typical "hunk" Frat boy type.

There really isn't any of that kind of male content for hetero women out there. I agree with the observation that goth girls are hot, but goth guys can be downright unattractive. The closest a guy got to being a hot gothy type was Trent Reznor in Nine Inch Nails' hayday (i.e. the "Closer" video).

The celeb sites that feature male celebs concentrate mostly on sports and Hollywood stars. Shit, you'd think that with the typical wild behavior of male rockers, there would be more that kind of content on male celeb sites.

This is most vexing to be sure!

So, content producers, if the for-women porn niche continues to grow, it would be nice to see some "hot rock n' roller, long-haired, tattooed freak" content geared towards hetero females who like that sort of thing (myself included).

And Trent Reznor was a hottie!

So there!

We had a site like that for a while. I like shooting that type of content as well as I like shooting chicks. I tend to shoot that type of subject much more often for music stuff than for adult though.

Sounds new here. Good luck on that thing..

Amelia, at some point in time, I'd like to talk with you about that. I talk back and forth with Karen of Purple Dollars since I plug her program. She was saying that content producers are just not that interested in producing male content geared towards hetero women.

I understand that the for-women niche isn't as big as the other niches and female traffic is harder to convert than male traffic, but damn! At some point I'd love to see content producers be willing to offer male content.

Let's say we have a content producer who pretty much just does teens/milfs/whatever, seriously, what would be the problem in producing a little male content for the for-women program owners?

Currently we have forthegirls.com, sssh.com, womensporno.com, lust4her.com, and a few others. As far as content goes, there is already a saturation. I see the same content on several of the sites.

We need some fresh content! We need a wider VARIETY of content too!

How am I expected to continue converting my female traffic without fresh content from the programs I have affiliate accounts with? Female porn consumers are really picky. They lose interest quickly with the same ol' same ol'.

Shit, if I had the proper photography equipment, I'd start my own content store!

I could rant about this forever.

I feel your pain Tullian. :( I've grown to enjoy the goth chicks out there, but it'd be nice to enjoy the guys too. ;)
