Seriously, I wear Birkenstocks any time I can because I have Planktar Fashitis (pretty bad) and the support from them takes my pain away. They are the best!!!! I also have inserts for my shoes, but I don't wear shoes with shorts much... so if you see me in shorts... I'm in my Birkenstocks or a pair of sports sandals that also give me support. And if you see me in pants... I have inserts in my shoes. :-)

I get injections for it, but it always comes back. I did the splint... all that is left is surgery and I don't have the time for it right now. :Oh crap

You should avoid getting too many of those steroid shots. It's only temporary relief, and not a cure. I have plantar fascitis too. The pain was so excruciating that I opted for surgery about ten years ago.

I still wear orthotics in my shoes, but now I can live a normal life, including playing tennis on a regular basis.

The procedure I had was fairly new at the time. If you want more info about it, e-mail me. I was only down for about one week hard, and 100% recovery came in 3-4 weeks.

BTW, I think the Jedi warrior tourist dress code requires you to wear black argyle socks with your Birkenstocks...

wdsguy, do you really go to that Frys?? We're at that Fry's every other day, after that pic we drove across the tracks to the Yahoo building to make a pee pee on it and get spics for GFY but that place is more fucking secure than Ft. Knox. We go to Fry's then over to the Empire center a lot.
