how do you guys keep track of your domains?
Do you do a spread sheet or have a script, or what? I have a cheesy bookmark php script that I started with about 6 years ago.
So it can't be much worse then mine :upsidedow |
keep track? i know them off by heart
|
I had a script made. Organizes everything by niche, paysite being promoted, keyword, and a few other features. Works great, 500 domains in it so far.

Plus it takes care of trades. Can redirect outgoing traffic based on niche, sponsor, site or geo location. Stats broken down into niche, sponsor, sites, geo, ad. Shows CTR and some other mumbo jumbo. And probably some other stuff that I have forgot. |
excel or openoffice's version...

If you guys are interested, I'll show and sell you a copy of what I had made for a reasonable price. I'll have it installed for you too.
|
domainmanager.com is free and I'm able to group them by niche and have full control of them in an easy interface along with traffic stats.

One thing that really helps in managing a large portfolio of domain names is to consolidate them all at one registrar, such as Moniker.

I only use 2 registrars so it's no big problem, and also i really have cut down on the domain ownage these days, have like 60 now

I just let the registar list them. I am always in there and tend to stay a a good few months ahead of renewals. I sometimes look at my list and go "wow, I forgot I had that domain" hehe
|
Im interested in this type of script. Web or Desktop based...
|
i've got the script all set and ready to sell.
contact me on icq (in my sig) and leave me a message telling your interest. i'll be able to show a demo on request. |
