cologroup or isprime?
 

I'm looking at a dedicated server
they both charge about the same .... which one should I choose?
any suggestions? any personal experiences with them?

Isprime and cologroup dedicated server pricing structures are far from similar.

I've heard Cologroup is really good :)

they both offered me the same deal
well actually isprime is just a little cheaper than cologroup

Is that deal on the ISPrime site? If so, please post the URL. I'm looking for dedicated server hosting myself and spent quite a bit of time at ISPrime and failed to see the price similarity you mentioned.

Well the main difference between Isprime and Cologroup is
that Isprime is multihomed.

They have more Tier1 providers, and cologroup only offers (cheaper)Cogent BW.

I don't know if cologroup has 24/7 support as well, but isprime has great support(27/7 phone and icq). A guy who I know made a custom submit script.

But it was didn't work for some reason. A tech helped him for 3! hours...

Both Cologroup and ISPRime have quoted on Cogent bandwidth. We are comparing apples to apples.

Maybe I am wrong, but Isprime offers real Verio/At&T BW, and also cogent.
But are you sure you matched the cogent price and not the Tier1 BW offer?

it's all personal opinion. every company has had it's share of bad stories. there hasn't been one company on here that someone hasn't had a bad experience with.

I use both. Both are great. ISPrime seems faster on support requests.
