My question is, why isnt everyone making a post? I have already given away $1000's of dollars of prizes... if you dont enter, you can't win...

don't fret... the 5000 post contest will be coming soon...

next time, enter, by making a post.... the prizes will keep getting bigger until i reach 10k.....

Ok, I'll give a detailed answer.

I just looked at your first post in that thread, and now let me explain :)


1. some people are just bored, they click everything, but don't bother to post
2. "contests threads" are often viewed by professional group of "contest whores", people who post in all kind of contest threads, but they prefer the "$50 for every 100 post" formula
3. with so many scammers here, you can expect some people dont trust any kind of contests at all
4. since you said you'll pick random winners, it can mean just that you'll chose your friends and send them an Ipod or whatever
5. speaking about Ipods, 60% of webmasters here don't live in America so they'd probably have to pay customs for a gift from the US
6. you didn't even say clearly what kind of prizes you'll be giving out

these are just a few possible reasons why not everyone reading your contest thread, posts in it

ok.. i can give some merit to a few of your points... but, i dont give prizes to friends... next.. yes, iPods out of America are a pain in the ass... i cant buy an iPod in the Us and ship to Australia or the UK (I found this out the hard way). So, what I have done is give people the option of taking the cash based on their countries exchange rate and buying their own....

I appreciate your skeptisism, most or should i say 95% of GFY is bullshit... from the lies people post to the drama threads...

I am from mainstream. I dont really have a concept of bullshit when it comes to business. i believe in delivering what you promise or refunding money when you cant meet those promises.

we have a lot of exciting things coming this year that i believe will give people what they have been longing for in this industry...

maybe i am out of my mind, but i hope to show people that doing business in an ethical way, only benefits us all in the long run...
