Are all the thread topics supposed to be bold
 

It is really annoying having ALL of them bold, as opposed to just stickies. :Oh crap

Yeah all the unread ones for me are bold, then when I post they are unbold, then bold again with new replies. It gives me a headache trying to sort through all the colors and sizes. :Oh crap

They are bold and I don't see any problem with that.

An unread or new messages icon or different color might be easier on the eyes.

Also wiz bang webmasters should keep in mind the old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
