A South Korean government official says North Korea appears to have conducted a nuclear test, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports.

Associated Press just reported according to South Korea's Intelligence Agency North Korea just tested a nuke.

No they aren't. China has been flipping out all week about this. China has never spoken out against North Korea or even hardly commented on their behavior, and this week they did both.

As long as the US Government rejects North Korea's long-standing demand for direct talks and diplomatic resolutions, they will get attention this way. They just want sanctions lifted and to have some respect in the global community. Granted the chest thumping is freaking the shit out of Japan.

CNN also says theres been no seismic activity in NK for the past 48 hours

Diplomacy has failed. The countdown is on for a limited strike on North Korea.

You can count on military targets and any other target that could be used to house weapons or develop uranium will be taken off the map. I'm guessing this is going to go down pretty soon. I doubt we were caught with our pants down, and a strike has been planned from some time for a moment such as this.

Seoul is about 70 miles from North Korea. They have plenty that can go that far. They also have medium range missiles that can easily hit Japan.

Yeah, China just warned them in the last few hours not to do it. Not very smart on his part.

And NK gived only a 20 minutes warning to China they'll perform a test.
