That is a creepy house. In a beautiful location though.

reynold 10-09-2006 02:27 AM

Lazonby 10-09-2006 02:50 AM

I saw it long time ago, scary shit :)

Bdiddy 10-09-2006 03:30 AM

Does anyone live there now?

Jarmusch 10-09-2006 03:36 AM

Is that from the new movie? I prefer the old school Amityville Horror house, the top windows reminded me of two eyes back then.

Bdiddy 10-09-2006 03:40 AM

Its probably the house where the murders actually took place

Jarmusch 10-09-2006 03:40 AM

Oh I get it, it's the real house. :(

The new owners replaced those windows to help stop all the gawking at the house....

I read the book 20 years ago before the film cane out scared the crap out of me.

Yep, nice people I hear. my in-laws know them. They say everything is fine. The only complaint is that assholes park out in front of the place all hours of the night. and stare.

Now my mother-in-law has the same exact house two houses down, except they still have the curved windows, so people always think its their house...

House goes for about $1.5 Mil now...

My father-in-law actually was walking the dog around the time when the guy murdered his family. His statments were taken by the police asking if he heard shots etc...They lived there when the original murder took place.

brand0n 10-09-2006 09:06 AM

I always told my wife I'd buy it if it went on the market...think of the marketing opportunities! "Win a night in the Amityville Horror!!!"
