epass question..

if i login from my canadian computer to my account... and then if I go to lets say italy, germany, paris, etc and login from there, will my account get closed for suspecious usage ? since it will show different country ip

MaddCaz 10-08-2006 04:07 PM

why would it?

GrouchyAdmin 10-08-2006 04:08 PM

Most processors/etc don't tie you to an IP address, but if you're in different cities faster than you can physically be there.. that's another story.

Paypal is about the only payment program that logs and analyzes IPs.. you shouldn't have any problems with Epass to my knowledge (as I haven't when travelling out of the states to Canada).

I've never had an issue with being in another city/country/state/etc - and upon asking, I was told essentially 'As long as you aren't in L.A. and Amsterdam at the same time.'

Perhaps I was a bit too liberal in my statement; but I'm finding it difficult to quanify what the hell it is I mean, so I suppose you caught me.

Shouldn't be a problem unless you are relocating permanently then you will be required to change your address.
