Trust me. As a Canadian, we KNOW our border patrol sucks ass. It's kind of funny actually. The American agents are always cordial and polite, even the couple of times they've searched my stuff. They're very professional.

The Canadian agents though, have serious chips on their shoulders. I feel like a criminal coming home half the time.

Ya well if you think that's bad, try being a Canadian going through US security! I've had them not allow me to enter the country for something as stupid as not having enough US cash in my pocket to satisfy them (I was on a train going across the border and only had enough cash on me for lunch, the rest was in the atm). He wouldn't even let me go get more, just kicked me off the train. I have never had a criminal record in my life.

90% of the time I cross into canada they ask where we are going and whats our citezenship and thats it never even looking in our passports.

its the same deal for many of us canadians trying to get into the US. some have been refused for charges such as vandalism 15 years ago.

Having been stuck in an airport US customs office more than once in my life, I can tell you that these people make Canadians look like wimps. They dig, the probe, they came back to me three times with warrants for people who's name didn't even remotely match mine, all the time claiming I was these other people... even with a passport, birth certificate, full set of ID, credit cards, etc all in my name on my person.

I have watched them not only inspect my baggage, but slice a suitcase to pieces and then nicely offer me a garbage bag to take my stuff home (I had long since missed the plane).

Boo-fucking-hoo... you smoked the chronic and got caught have a criminal record as a result. Of course they won't let you in.

Yea buddy that sucks. I've been denied access into the States because I only had 20 bucks Canadian in my pocket. I told the guy I was just going to a convention in Barfalo and would only be a few hours. Still told me to take a hike.

Yours are the same man. I flew to US abotu 10 times in 2003-2004 and going to Pheonix forum the dickhead US custom agent decides not to let me in. I tell him off shoing him my passport and that i was there just couple of weeks prior and this was is response. "Sir, I am a us custom agent, therefore I have authority over anyone trying to come in the us. You could be anyone and I could still deny your entry"

Called him a douche bag and now $2000 lawyer fee later I have a business waiver so I can get in.

MAJOR cameltoe action going on

Years ago in detroit, I was making a connecting flight, I get off the plane, unfortunately I was last in line behind about 75 arab families trying to get into the states, so ofcourse they redflag all these people. I kept jumping lines trying to find one that was moving quicker (had about 40 minutes before my plane was about to take off)

They warned us (ego trip) that line jumping is a criminal offense, they try to make it seem like you are nervous or looking to run.. So sure enough they flagged my ass and all the others and made us miss our plane. Although it was interesting watching these failed/wannabe police try and interogate you.

They called my university to see if i was enrolled there, however since this was like a sunday at 9pm, I knew they didnt talk to anyone, yet they came in and were like

"Mr ******, seems like we have a problem with your story about going to school, anything you want to tell us?" I just laughed..

they ended up giving me a voucher for a free hotel stay and they rearranged my flight on the next day.

I love Canada. I got stopped at the border going in from Detroit and they did a 'random' check of my car. No frisk search of myself, just the car, so they didn't find the pot I was carrying.

That's pretty much what they told me.. I had like $10 in my pocket to buy lunch, and several thousand in my bank account, which they wouldn't even let me withdraw.. (the atm was about 15 feet from where the customs guy was standing). Like having $20 US is going to save your ass if you get stuck in the states.. Give me a fucking BREAK!!

I dunno where you cross, but at 1000 Islands the Canadian side don't even ask me to see my ID 90% of the time ... The Americans are dicks though ... they keep trying to prove that I want to "defect" to the US (verbaitem what they tell me ...)

Im so used to it now, that I just 'go with it' ... seems to make the vehicle search go twice as fast as to when I ask them "if they're high?!?" :Oh crap

when you get refused you can ealy get a red flag, a red flag shows up at any board crossing that scans yyour passport,

the Photographer end up in Jail.
