i found out that theres a loophole in the NZ tax law

that if you promote / banner exchange etc with another site you dont have to pay tax if you live in NZ on the income

if you are a non-resident of New Zealand assuming you meet the migration requirements you can live here for 4 years and pay no tax on international income (which of course is basically anything earned online). Unfortunatley for me I'm already resident :(.

I have no idea what bigalownz is talking about though.

There are a couple more NZs that post on here, nowhere near as many as there are perverted Aussies posting :).

i was told by some one i found this on the tax dept site

""Banner advertisements are frequently placed on a website to advertise a product from, or link to, another site. Commissions received from banner advertising are not taxable income while commissions paid for business advertising are deductible.

In some cases the advertising is by a reciprocal arrangement between sites by contras or barter. There should be an open market value placed on the value of the goods supplied and received by barter, which may mean that in most arms-length situations the tax effect is neutral."

cause a tgp gallery is the same as a big banner and your not selling anything the porn companies are


i know that you can clame a tax deductible expenses etc on some things for a web site

Annual fee for registration
Renting space on an ISP server
Site update costs
Cost of a server
etc

I'm from NZ originally and I highly doubt it. If the money comes into your bank account the tax man will have a piece of it you can count on that.

I also heard if you send traffic to pimpinpays you may not have to pay tax in NZ

um yeah that's just wrong. In fact it says the opposite, that it IS taxable.
