Today I was in the local corner shop and suddenly heard the almost forgotten sound of a modem connecting. I guess the shopkeeper was connecting to something but I was taken over my memories of shoving a pencil down the sound hole in my modem so my parents couldn't hear it dialing. Ahhh, 16 and addicted to a BBS.

Ha! When I was a kid, we didn't have no fancy bulletin board systems and dial-up. We just scratched our messages on rocks, and threw them at eachother!

This one time, I wrote a girl a long loveletter, but I had to use a really, really large rock to make it all fit, and the rock ended up killing her. I still cry about that sometimes :(

TD, would it be hard to put a spell checker on gfy? so if someone spells something wrong like

"Im going to my houes" it will say "Did you mean, house or hoes"

Fantastic! I know if you guys can get GFY to speed up that it will be even more busy than ever before. Also, if you could eventually re-enable searches that would do alot to help some of us keep up with things here.
