Have you ever walked out of a movie?

I was just thinking about the movie leprechaun and how I couldn't force myself to stay any longer :1orglaugh

So have you ever left the movies from a really bad flick?

LiveDose 10-07-2006 04:04 AM

Never but I saw people walk out of Eyes Wide Shut. They mumbled something and left... It was funny.

rigrunner 10-07-2006 04:05 AM

I fucking LOVE eyes wide shut.. One of my fave movies..

I've never walked out but have been asked to leave after I got so bored I thought lobbing popcorn was a great idea...

Most movies being made now are really bad. I've walked out of many and even got free theater tickets for one I left after about 20 minutes and complained to the manager.

WWC 10-07-2006 04:07 AM

Gillespie 10-07-2006 05:10 AM

I came pretty close a few times.

puravida 10-07-2006 06:18 AM

yah, i walked out of a movie here about 6 months ago, and i wanted my girl to ask for a refund, but she refused to do it, cuz she said they don't do that here, so i went and asked for the refund myself, in my warped spanglish, and got my $$ back

ImLost 10-07-2006 06:21 AM

godisdead 10-07-2006 06:52 AM

I've seen people walk out of South Park the movie. It was a sneak preview, so they didn't know which movie they would see. And south park isn't everyone's taste.

BabeHunter 10-07-2006 06:57 AM

never left

I've walked out of one. I can't remember the title but it really sucked and the theater smelled like vomit anyway...

carol.prime 10-07-2006 07:49 AM

I did once when I became pretty damn board with M. Night Shyamalan's The Village

notabook 10-07-2006 07:50 AM

I can only remember walking out of a movie just one time, walked out during Michael Moore?s movie Fahrenheit 9/11.

donross 10-07-2006 10:52 AM

TimBlaze 10-07-2006 10:54 AM

Kazaam, the old Shaq movie. i was really young and i got scared. :Oh crap :Oh crap

Rochard 10-07-2006 10:57 AM

I've never walked out of a movie.

However, while seeing pulp fiction..... with my wife..... the scene where they stick the needle in that guys heart was too much for her. My wife has a bad heart and she started freaking out on me.

I got the movie when it came out on DVD and I must admit I had to watch it a few times before it all made sense.

buddyjuf 10-07-2006 10:57 AM

Must Love Dogs
and
Undercover Brother

E$_manager 10-07-2006 11:58 AM

It happened to me when i was small. I guess the movie was very clever for me.

baddog 10-07-2006 12:07 PM

Two that I recall.

Fantasia (not high enough), Popeye (too high).

It had Sally Field, what did you expect? Gidget?

woj 10-07-2006 12:40 PM

I always do some research before going to see a movie, so I've never managed to see THAT bad of a movie..

squishypimp 10-07-2006 02:19 PM

yup ive done it a few times, Glitter was one.

RawAlex 10-07-2006 02:27 PM

I make a rule of not going to too many potentially bad movies... there are a few I have sat and watched and laughed at (during serious parts) because they were so horribly done.

The lady in the water or whatever it was a few months back almost got me out of the room, but someone else was diriving and I didn't feel like sitting in the lobby for an hour. That was a very, very predictable piece of shit.

donkevlar 10-07-2006 02:44 PM

Joe Dirt. Because we wanted our money back. What a horrible piece of garbage.

BusterBunny 10-07-2006 02:48 PM

the talented mr. ripley.....

madawgz 10-07-2006 02:49 PM

i always stay till the end to get my moneys worth lol

dennisthemenace 10-07-2006 02:52 PM

A few.

We have left movies, concerts, restaurants, etc.. pretty much anything that can suck.

Zarathustra 10-07-2006 02:55 PM

Steel Magnolias

chaze 10-07-2006 03:19 PM

Damn there is some movies here that I like. :Oh crap Joe Dirt for one :1orglaugh
