Tool Concert
 

Went and saw Tool for the first time tonight. I like the band but haven't been a real big fan. Some of the stuff kinda drones on too much for me.

But, I must say the show was one of the best I've seen. They are totally unique and the mixture visual elements with the up and down of moods was fantastic. I've never seen a band where the singer is a silhouette to a video backdrop instead of being up front and I actually found it kind of refreshing. There wasn't all that "HELLO NEW YORK!" talk between songs... they just went up there and did a performance and that's exactly what it felt like... Not a bunch of a songs but an overall performance from start to finish.

Also I never realized how damn kickass the drummer was until tonight.

I'll definitely go see them again.

I saw them a few months ago. Probably the best concert i've seen. And i'm going to see them again next month. Can't wait.

I didn't get tickets to the Australian shows, I would have loved to go :(

Danny Carey (the drummer) is one of the absolute best, most technically perfect drummers in history. He's up there with Neil Pert for me. Just awesome.

Franck just recently introduced them to me as I was aware of tem but didnt really know them, but I have to admit that I think I prefer A Perfect Circle however that may change the more I listen.

Saw them in Vegas three years ago. One of my all time favorite bands.
