Wtf Is Wrong With People????
 

Ok, so my daughter (12) and 3 friends wanted to go to a late night skating rink. They have a late skate deal from 6:30 to 11:30. I drop them off, and I am supposed to pick them up and they all spend the night. I have to drive hubby's truck because my car doesn't have enough seat belts (I am a freak about this). I show up, pick up my girls and leave. As we are driving down the road the girls are talking about their friends who don't have a ride home. One of the kids mom was "unreachable" and the mom that was supposed to pick up the other two was pissed off because the kid called to late for a ride and told her to find a ride home. WTF...these are 12 and 13 year old kids???!!!! Needless to say I made a U-Turn and stuffed 7 kids in my truck. Didn't like cramming kids in a vehicle, but I'm not leaving those kids at 11:30 at night.:mad:

Generally when a parent tells their children to find their own way home at 11;30 pm. you could say there is a domestic problem.

some people are not built to be parents... they are just to stupid for that.

Actually, the mom said she just didn't think it would be that late and she was "going back to sleep".

Needless to say, that isn't a house my kid will be visiting.:disgust

You took "care, custody, and control" of 3 minor girls without their parents permission, knowingly transported them unsafely ... was each child returned to a safe environment to their legal guardian .......

Before you say I'm an idiot and over-reacting ... think how these low-life parents would turn on you if there was a mis-hap ....... accident, one goes missing, medical problem ......

I don't think you are an idiot at all....I mostly agree with you. The girl called her "sleeping" mom back and told her I was bringing them. The mom said thanks...dumbass (the mom not you). I also dropped all kids at their door and made sure they were safely inside. I debated pretty hard, but just could not bring myself to leave those young girls there that late at night.:Oh crap

For what it's worth, I jammed them all in seat belts. It actually makes me mad that I felt "forced" to cram all those kids in my car. I just can't imagine leaving them. :(

Sounds like those kids have idiots for parents. You don't tell your kid to find a ride home at 11:30 at night. You did the right thing by driving them. They could have tried to walk home and god only knows what they may have run into.

See, I would be TERRIFIED of my 16, 18, hell 30 year old daughter walking home that late at night. These are BABIES...12 and 13 year olds.:disgust
