Well, my life as a Glamour Photographer might as well be over. One of my favorite models in the whole wide world has called it quits. :waaaaahh

Let me take you back.......

-I remember many years ago (mid 90's)... back in Memphis - shooting products for a living and wishing, dreaming and fantasizing about shooting beautiful nude models for a living. I had never shot a naked girl in my whole life! I was new to the internet. I logged into my dialup AOL account and stumbed accross a website that had some models and photographers posting on it - talking about..... modeling and photography. One day while surfing that site I spotted some pictures of one of the most beautiful creatures I had ever seen in my life - "Crissy Moran".

She was young, she was *hot*, she was new to modeling and looking for photographers to do TFP (trade for prints) with her. I was in Memphis - couldn't shoot my way out of a paper bag and knew she would have no interest in working with me.... so I never wrote to her. I continued to watch her modeling career prosper over the years......secretely hoping that one day I'd be a good enough shooter to work with girls of her caliber.

Fast forward to today....after many years of hard work, lots of study, practicing my ass off and working with great people like Twistys, I finally realized my dream to work with Crissy. I was in LA - she was in LA and Twistys was about to make one of my dreams come true.

The first time I met Crissy I was nervous. More nervous then any other girl I'd ever worked with...or met for that matter. She was still young, still beautiful and very shy. How could this be? A nude model that is more shy then myself?

Well, our shoot was *magical* for me to say the least. One of the best shooting experiences of my life and one that I'll remember for a long long time. Over this past year I have worked with Crissy many times (Thanks to Shap & Shapette) and each time we shoot together - we do better and better stuff. I always look forward to working with Crissy on Twistys projects because she brings so much to the table that so many other girls don't.

Crissy - just wanted to wish you the best and thank you for some wonderful experiences that I'll never forget. You are just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside and that's a rare find in this industry. Thanks for the love, your friendship and for allowing me the privilege of working with you. I'm not worthy :bowdown

truely great models are a rare and wonderful find . . she will be missed by many I'm sure . . hopefully the next segemnts of her life will be as wonderful for her, as her modeling career was for others . . photographers and fans alike . . :2 cents:

I could be wrong Mutt, but I really took that as more of a defensive post after getting her ass jumped about her spiritual choices. It's not like that was part of her blog post or part of her original posts.

no - you are right that it was said in defense and she may have not written it if she had taken time to think about the weight of her words BUT make no mistake those are her real feelings coming out and as she and Jesus become re-acquainted she will harden in that view.

Crissy could model paper bags and still look good and make money.

This girl's the type you could admire with or without clothes, she has many options.

I hope that she does well in whatever she wants to do. I know about five years ago she mentioned on a shoot we were at that she was interested in becoming a paralegal.

I will always remember Dean! How dare you say that! He is a good friend of mine and always will be.

One thing people can't seem to understand is that we don't just walk away from our friends simply because we have made a choice to leave the business for God.

It's a wonderful thing... just don't do what so many "new" christians do and piss off your friends by thinking they all need to be saved. The people here are not entirely compatible with your new life, I think you can understand that.

That photo is incredible as is the photos on your web site. Thank you for sharing, and providing inspiration to (the new photographer) who is looking to being the caliber of photographer that you are currently. That is sad that shes out, but another will come to take her place! :) :thumbsup

...and now Crissy is going to use her beauty to captivate audiences, perhaps even Congress, and lecture them on the evils of the adult industry in a quest to see that the adult industry is shut down, or at the least that more sanctions be imposed upon this industry (which she herself profited off for so well, for so long).

Hey guys - thanks for turning my positive thread about Crissy into something negative. I know that some of you are highly-pissed at her for leaving the industry, finding god and therefore reducing your monthly income by a few dollars.....but to continue to bash her like this says more about you then it does about her. I simply can't imagine how boring your life must be that you have to spew negativity at someone who is trying to better themselves then to just wish them well and move along. This place never ceases to amaze me :Oh crap

Dean, you've been obsessed with and kissing Crissy's ass for so long that you are oblivious to her new agenda (I think even once, in the dozen or so threads you started about her, declared something along the lines that you fantasized about Crissy being your wife).

I have no problem with models leaving the industry, it happens all the time. I have no problem with religion as long as they keep it out of my face, and don't try to hurt my legal livelihood.

However, when people feel that God wants them to rail against the legal adult industry which I am a part of (which fundamentalist born-again Christians feel duty bound to do), and allow themselves to be used by quasi religious-political fundraising groups bent on either imposing heavy sanctions or shutting down the adult industry altogether because it is against their religious beliefs...well, excuse me for getting a little bit riled up about that.

BTW, I have never made a penny off of Crissy, and I would wish her well if she would just move along without bashing the adult industry, which by her accounts (so far), treated her so well.

It's the best of both worlds~

Crissy can do what she wants with her life (as we all can), and we can continue to see her naked. She'll never have to grow older or unattractive in her content. She's been visually captured at the prime of her life.

who cares if she leaves the biz really other than maybe some fans or stalkers. the rest of us could give a shit if she's sucking dick or showing her vagina in front of a camera or not. the whole anger or mean spirit comes out of the fact that she spent so much time in this biz then to drink some jesus juice from some freaks with a clear agenda against the whole biz but they dont give a shit about personal responsibility. why is it that you can't find jesus until you've fucked off all you could possibly want, and then when you find him everyone else has to.

I'm not anymore "obsessed" with Crissy then I am with any other girl that I've shot. It just so happens that I believe some of my best work was with Crissy so that is the special connection that I have with her but to say that I'm obsessed with her and kissing her ass is totally inappropriate and something that I would never expect to come from your mouth! :disgust

The fact is...that it wouldn't matter if it was with Crissy or any of the hundreds of other beautiful girls that I've shot - I would still feel the same way. It doesn't matter to me if a person wants to worship god...or a fucking frog! Whatever makes people happy - I'm all for it and I wish them the best :thumbsup

I have worked with a lot of models and agree for the most part.. I have always wanted to work with her.. maybe in the next life..
