Bandwidth (MBPS) Usage On The Hun? (Any Large TGP)

Can someone give me an estimate of how much bandwidth I'll burn through if listed on the Hun? I use this site as an example...but any large TGP will do. (Worldsex, Elephant List, etc)

Is it possible for someone to give a rough estimate on how many mbps I'll use?

Thanks,
c-lo

the best one to make that calculation is you since you know how big your gallery is. Anyway a Hun listing can get ya anything from 100,000 hits to 400,000+ so it's damn hard to say, and also over what period of time are we talking? First day? all 4 days on main page on the hun?

Too many factors involved.. pictures / movies

Design size... ammount of pics

60kb pics or 200kb pics ? etc etc...

Take your total gallery size and make it 100 000 you should be arround the total.

1 mbit = 300ish gigs.

Crap, I completely forgot to include all the info...the page with thumbs & ads is approximately 250kb. Each pic linked to is another 100kb. I figure 1MB per gallery view...but I have no idea of how to calculate mbps. And I was referring to 1 day...I can make assumptions off of that. Thanks Nicky.

Thanks Dre!

So if I use 1 MB per gallery view, and I receive 300k visitors per day...I'd use approximately 1 mbps per day?

We had a ton of customers listed on TheHun

Here is what I've found to be pretty common

A regular gallery page will do up to 20Mbps for about 30 hours.

In terms of gigs this is roughly 300GB

If you're doing a Movie page expect about 80Mbps for about 30 hours.

In gigs this is about 1200GB
