Never heard about buying your competitors? You should talk to mister Bill Gates, he earned like 5$ with buying up the competition.

wdsguy 10-06-2006 11:21 AM

last week Newsweek mentioned their bandwidth bill was about $1.2mil if I remember correctly.

I'm confused here. Myspace, which controls roughly 10% of internet traffic, was just bought up for $500mil?

marketsmart 10-06-2006 05:29 PM

thats a ton of money! good for the guy selling it :thumbsup

Doctor Dre 10-06-2006 05:33 PM

sniperwolf 10-06-2006 09:52 PM

Whoa! That's the shiznit.. alot of money in there..

DaddyHalbucks 10-06-2006 10:19 PM

That's pretty rich for a business based on copyright violation.

squishypimp 10-06-2006 10:23 PM

i think this is going to be another broadcast.com blunder like Yahoo had. YouTube is a great resource and a highly publicized site however from an interview I heard awhile ago the site brings in very little (if any) profit. The bandwidth bills are huge and the advertising prices are very slim.

hopefully google can get it turned around, but im not sure if it will ever be able to justify the purchase price of 1.6 billion.

Well, if you think about it, all of Google is based on ripping off everyone's content.

baycouples 10-06-2006 10:49 PM

You should work for Fox News. You're basing your facts on rumors. Read this:

They are NOT buying it. They are just talking about it. Huge difference.

pornpf69 10-06-2006 10:52 PM

why would they buy it if they already have a similar website?

CyberHustler 10-06-2006 10:57 PM

GoNe 10-06-2006 11:30 PM
