hmmm, interesting Paradise Poker quandary
I have been a member there for about a year, and to be honest, I really haven't had much time to play lately, but I have always kept a small balance in there "just in case" I got some free time.
Because of the pending legislation regarding online gambling I decided to login to my account and cash out. When I clicked "cash out" it gave me some message about MC not letting them cash out any longer (I did not fund with MC) and they offered me 3 alternatives: a couple paypal/epass type of places that I don't have an account with, or a check. The thing is, they say they won't send out checks for less than $50. Does this mean I have to buy more credit in order to get what I have in there already? But can I even do that with this new law? I wonder how much they are going to make in total from all the people like me. |
Well, have to hand it to them, pretty fast response to my email:
Unfortunately, we are not in a situation to speculate on the outcome of any pending Congressional discussions or legislation which may arise from this. Please note that there are no restrictions on players purchasing or withdrawing chips at this time. As your available fund balance is less than $50 it is not possible for a cashout to be made by our system. We therefore suggest that you make an additional purchase so that to make your total available balance to $50 or more. Consequently, you will then be able to make a cashout. |
you come to GFY for a $50 personal financial decision? :1orglaugh
