I am sick of this!
 

I'm done with this crap.

About three weeks ago I was rear ended. All jokes aside, traffic stopped, I stopped, the person behind me failed to stop. I've only had the car less than two months or so and bam, my tail end is all screwed up. ($2k worth of damage too!)

Today while coming to a stop at a yellow light I saw the car coming. It was a Saturn that had been rode hard and put away wet; It had so much patchwork and paintwork that it looked like a damn quilt. This car moved over two lanes to pass someone and it suddenly dawned on me that this car had no intention of stopping. I was in the center lane, he was in the right lane. I put my car in gear, ready to move if needed. Sure enough he saw the red light too quick, jammed on his brakes and skidded through - without hitting anyone.

Tonight I was in a turn lane at a red light. Light turns green for me only, but yet another car in another thought they had a green light and just moved foward - only to discover he (she?), from a dead stop, went through a red light and was suddenly caught in the middle of the intersection with cars coming at her?

I'm not the world's best driver, but when did our driving get so damn sloppy?

by chance were any of the drivers asian?

and that would make any difference because?

Asians are notorious for being the worlds worst drivers. Duh.

The car who hit me was a woman. The Saturn was a man. The VW at the light tonight was a women.

It doesn't matter what sex or race they are.

I saw it on my way home too. I followed this POS car with a spare tire on the front down the onramp and he/she couldn't wait to pass the car in front of him. There was a broken down car with a trailer on the on ramp and this car came dangerously close, and then another car on the side of the road near the end of the on ramp and again he came close. The car jumped out into traffic, cut cars off, changed lanes at will, and in the end he ended up at the same light I did less than a minute later. He/she had half a dozen traffic violations in less than a mile, and ended up no further than me.

Man, I'm a speed demon with a lead foot, but I drive carefully (or at least pretend to).

I saw an 18 year old crash into a busstop today... the roof of the busttop (concrete) fell down ON the car and wrecked it! Looked funny. Noone got hurt!

Its like I've always said......Young people are always in a rush. Old people have all the time in the world. When you get that combo, mixed in with all the idiots that have cell phones, GPS, and all that other distracting shit, accidents happen.
