Cybernet Expo 2007 Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Tampa, Florida
 

October 5, 2006 -- The longest running adult webmaster trade show in the industry turns 10 next June! Save the dates June 7 - 10, 2007 and share in the celebration of 10 consecutive and eventful years of the industry's premiere mid-sized networking show, Cybernet Expo.

We asked for your input and feedback and you gave it to us. After taking all critical elements into serious consideration about what makes a trade show memorable and successful, we chose the Hilton Westshore in Tampa, Florida as our next Cybernet Expo destination. Tampa, located on the Gulf Coast, is a dream destination, with major tourist attractions including the Busch Gardens, Florida Aquarium, and beautiful beaches. Given the major industry interest, huge webmaster support and plethora of adult companies located in and around the area, Tampa will be a fantastic host city.ha We have bought out the entire Hilton Westshore Hotel, making Cybernet Expo 2007, the exclusive event on the premises.

Located minutes from the Tampa International airport, and with many direct flights, the Hilton Westshore couldn't be more accessible. The hotel will provide free shuttle service for our attendees, and in addition, the hotel offers an enthusiastic hotel staff, full run of the hotel during the peak days of the event, and excellent space to work with for seminars, networking, parties, exhibiting and marketing.ha The central location of the hotel itself is within walking distance of great shopping, restaurants, and a short ride to huge attractions like the Casino and the legendary clubs of Ybor City.

Cybernet Expo owner Fay Sharp states, "Many of the leaders in our business responsible for shaping our industry back in the day, cut their trade show teeth at Cybernet Expo.ha The landscape of the industry has radically changed since Cybernet Expo launched ten years ago, but the show itself has remained constant and has weathered many storms.ha We couldn't be more thrilled to be doing the show in 2007 at the Tampa Westshore Hilton next late Spring."

The Cybernet Expo 2007 website will officially launch late October 2006 with sponsorships also being available at that time.

Actually .... the Tampa atmosphere is very condusive to our industry .... the locals here in central florida, especially the good folks at TreasureBucks have thrown some awesome gatherings here, and all have been a smack success ...

Actually Tampa has tons of adult business from adult bookstores, to strip clubs, and swinger clubs. The more rural areas of Florida are the ones with the over judgemental citizens.

It will be Great to have a show in our hometown!:thumbsup

Must have changed since the last time I was there . . . seemed to be heaven's waiting room when I was there last.

Well depending on how long it's been since you were there, then perhaps all of those people have died and gone to heaven leaving just the hellbound.

Finally a show comes to Tampa... this is going to be one of the best shows in 2007, hands down.

Actually there is a Pornstar convention going on in Tampa area right now. I remember seeing the schedule. Anyone have the link?

We even had 4 hotels/resorts that were competing for hosting our group.

They also have no objection to the Porn Porker Tournament. They have had these types of tournaments by groups at this hotel before.

depends where you are but i can say thats one of the major reasons i am back is the demographic there. doesnt matter who the fuck lives there really, i guess it matters who will attend to check out tampa and the show? i lived there for a year, i
ll go just to see my peoples.:thumbsup if nothin else.

Comrade, it is been 3 moons and a menstrual cycle since I have heard from long lost brother. You come to big country and forget about mother Ukrenchia. We come from place where we have not a pot of piss let alone a window to throw from. You go big minute in Tampa... we will find you at this CyberNet Expo.

ybor city is like tijuana vibe. $1 beers, lots of college parties. but at least if you go to jail there they don't stela your shoes and feed you water and bread like tijuana, and you can get out the next morning. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

theres lots of cute women there on thurs - saturday. some nights is a little ghetto in certain spots, but its pretty much like a zoo with no cages and no zookeeper. the cops kinda stand around unless you are being a total dick.

chris from treasure bucks is actually the guy to talk to. most of my professional experience was at the Floyds nightclub and Shepherds on the beach in Clearwater.

chris is pretty much the man in ybor city clubbing and promoting.

you do not wanna drive drunk outta ybor city after the clubs close you will get popped. the cops there are excellent trap setters for that stuff.

jsut a little inside info there.

i don't drive there, so i was lucky in that mindset.

Have you seriously ever been to Tampa?

Tampa has more strip clubs, bookstores, massage parlors, and peep shows per sq mile than any place in the USA.

Dodger, there is a HUGE difference between West Coast Tampa in June and East Coast Miami in August.

At the risk of sounding negative, it will be a cold day in Florida before I ever visit the Sunshine State in the summer, be it Cybernet, Internext or whatever. I heard you were moving it to SF... What gives? The Twinkley/Brasco/Anita Bryant lobby swayed you to this decision? Too bad...

Big Lou - I have wanted San Fran for years..... I have not been able to find a place. So many of the hotels there don't have anything more than a few meeting rooms. They are tourist hotels or lodging for the convention center. From there we go to the biggies & they want to "marry" us with another group. They just never seem to have the suitable group to marry us with.

Anyone that would know of a place there that would work for us, LMk and I will start working on 2008 booking in a heartbeat...
