I am TOTALLY off of PAXIL as of last few dyas....

I am totally off of it..........

tooks time but i am not taking it anymore.

Thats one out of the way....

Didnt really experince anything that bad , except for a 3 inch penis growth.

pawsregd 10-05-2006 12:30 PM

Just say no to drugs

StuartD 10-05-2006 12:31 PM

Heh... well, paxil doesn't really supply you with anything, it just helps kick your brain into gear to release the proper levels of ceratonin.

So kicking that one shouldn't be too much of a problem.

selena 10-05-2006 12:32 PM

Good job, Juicy! ~hugs~

Untrue Stuart. SSRIs are different for everyone who takes them.

Juicy should only have stopped on the advice of his physician.

ajrocks 10-05-2006 01:11 PM

I know a few people that took that stuff. You are in for a bad ride in a week. As it's been described to me it feels like brain zaps.

actually, paxil has one of the most harsh discontinuation syndromes of all the SSRI's. if your brain has been used to this medication for a long time and it goes away, it does cause a withdrawl sydrome, which is why juicy had to ramp off of it. seratonin is important! :2 cents:

way to go juicy!!! :thumbsup keep up the good work!!! :thumbsup

Congrats, as you may already know often what one really needs to do is get ones neurotransmitters back into balance. Paxil and related drugs are temporary fixes and do not solve the root of the problem. They can actually make it worse over time. I'd recommend you have a test to establish your neurotransmitter baseline and then make adjustments from there. Ideally a proper diet over time should provide suffiicient nutrients to get your neurotransmitters back into balance although you can help by using supplements for a period of time. For example if Norepinephrine or Dopamine levels are low L-Tyrosine can help. If Serotonin is low L-Tryptophan or even better 5-HTP. Of course, check with your doctor.

Maybe his ignorant ass physician shouldn't have prescribed it to him so he could pocket a few bucks from the drug companies.

Rui 10-05-2006 03:02 PM

Some people that used both compare long paxil usage withdrawal to H's withdrawal when going cold turkey...nuff said

Mr Pheer 10-05-2006 03:28 PM

i've been off the percocet for a week now, and off of the oxygen at night for 3 days
