major problems with CCBill
I can't believe these idiots. I tried to buy something using CCBill and entered my details as country=Australia & state/prov="outside USA/Canada" and got my card rejected for not selecting the correct state. I double checked and confirmed there was no Australian states listed so tried again and got rejected again. So I decided to contact their support people.
I can't believe how rude they were. First they told me that they did not run the website so could not help me, even though I specified it was their problem. I wrote them back and told them that it was indeed their problem. Then they replied telling me that they did indeed list Australian "provinces". OK, nothing pisses me off more than being told that I am wrong twice in a row when I am right both times...so I copied the source code from their page and sent it through to them with a small geography lesson on Australia and its member states. I am waiting to hear back from them. I thought I was doing these guys a favour by pointing out a HUGE mistake in their billing system which essentially scrubs ALL Australian sales, instead I got told I was an idiot!!! I tell you one thing, I am smart enough to go out and stop promoting anyone that is using CCBill as their processor. I am also smart enough to warn everyone against using CCBill for two real reasons: 1) you will be missing all sales from Australia and who knows what other countries (20%+ of your sales gone!) 2) if your client ever has a problem, there is a good chance that CCBill will be rude to them and write them off without even bothering to do a proper investigation into their case. yeah thats sounds like CCbill try being on the other end the company who USED CCbill as our payment processor they kept an account we had with them in "test" mood for over a month after we set up the account for a paysite design we did for a local client, so to say the least we no longer use them IBILL is one of the best in our eyes or do your own which can be a handfull and dealin with chargebacks blows from what i have heard

If you've got the name of the csr that was rude to you, let me know -- [email protected] -- while the person who told you that was most likely correct since we do process Aussie cards all day long, individual site owners can set up their joins to take what they like.
You may have been trying to join a site that doesn't take Aussie traffic -- there are quite a few people who only take US joins and fail to mention that -- or the site owner may just have made a mistake in their configurations. Without knowing the exact site that you are talking about, there's no way that I could tell you specifically what the issue is. |

KimmiKim -
I was trying to purchase traffic from this little site called sex.com, you may have heard of them. I was online live with Karen Orsie from sex.com and she assured me they do not have a problem taking Aussie credit - I did eventually pay for my purchase through paypal and Karen was amazingly helpful with this whole process. Who was rude? someone called "[email protected]" they did not identify themselves any further. By the way, yes, I find it rude that you are an international payment processor who does not know that Australia has states and not provinces. I also find it rude that you assume I am in the wrong when I write to you nicely to tell you that you have a problem -- twice -- and you dismiss it without even looking at the details that I sent through to you to verify that it was indeed your problem. I just cringe when I think of how you deal with innocent customers, let alone experienced web professionals. Luke |

Let me edit this and add that every access to every account is tracked in our system :) |

As to the reason that an Aussie card didn't go thru on sex.com, as I also said above, it could be a simple misconfiguration in their account, since Aussie cards do go through our system. |
luke, dont bother sending her any emails. I doubt she will still have a job on monday after the shit she just pulled.

I'm getting signups from Australia and yes I'm with ccbill
