Hell no.

I had a Poli Sci class in college my first year where the professor made us read and bring to class each day the front sections of the conservative San Diego Union, the liberal LA Times and a 3rd that was our choice from a short list. Amazing to see how major stories were different from paper to paper. You can get the same effect in one day and save 4 years of tuition just by changing the channels from the major news networks to see how they cover national stories.

sometimes media lie for their very own reasons, sometimes they are politically correct and don't say the whole truth, sometimes they make headlines completely out of context... and sometimes, well, the reporters/journalists etc are just stupid

when you are a kid, you believe that your parents know everything
when you grow up, you realize its not the case
and its neither the case with the media...

so everyone with an above average IQ should think for themselves
