If You Had to Open a Franchise...
... and you assume that the following things were true, what are your top three picks of franchises to open?
1. You have the funding and means. 2. You have secured a suitable location and all permits and red tape has been cleared. 3. No one else has yet opened your franchise in your area. I think my top three would be, in this order: 1. ACE Cash Express (Payday Loans and Check Cashing) 2. CiCis Pizza (Low Cost Pizza Buffet) 3. Value Place Hotel (Extended Stay Hotel, Rooms Rent by the Week) |
i would open a adameve franchise store :)
|
Quizznos...inside joke
|
i would probably start a Long & Foster and go into real estate. Alot of cash in those franchises
|
payday loan by far.
Just be ready for a potential political bs smack down soon. |
Pizza hut
mcdonalds taco bell |
Coldstone
Starbucks Ciggarette Shop. |
Selfishly I would open up a Hooters because there is usually only one per city and you'd have a non-stop supply of hot potential talent to catch before they make it to stage 2 of porndom.
Step 1- Waitress at Hooters Step 2- Waitress at a strip club Step 3- Stripper Step 4- Porn But if I was opening something cutting edge that I thought would do well, it would be one of these, they're hot in Austin and a great concept. http://www.whichwich.com/ |

Haha! Thats actually a pretty damn good idea, the Hooters part. I never thought about turning your waitresses out, hell, why not the customers, too. You're right, sure would be a fertile hunting ground, no pun intended. |
A combination Starbucks/KrispyKreme
|
Tim Hortons
DH |
McDonalds...
|
i would open an internet/gaming cafe in the city
|

Retail franchises are too much work.
I do think it'd be fun to have a Starbucks though in retirement. |

Seems Panera Bread is a fast grower now. I heard of some guy with a Subway he was working 70 hrs a week and only making 35K....he would have probably made more as an employee...lol

Starbucks....

Pizza...
Loans are going to be a pain and alot of extra work. Hotel is great but so much shit to compete with just wouldn't be worth it. You open a CiCi's and chill out serving american's favorite food while making friends with the local community. |
Subway, its consistently the #1 rated franchise by Entrepreneur
2006 - http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchis...500/index.html 2005 - http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchis...8/2005,-1.html 2004 - http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchis...8/2004,-1.html 2003 - http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchis...8/2003,-1.html 2002 - http://www.entrepreneur.com/franchis...8/2002,-1.html Or a Dunkin Donuts, Theyre always doing tons of business and I've never seen one close. |
low cost pizza buffet? Interesting....
|
From what I understand, Starbucks doesnt franchise out, its all company owned. Unless you own an exclusive space that they want to get into, like an airport.
|
Blockbuster, I love movies.
|
AlphaGraphics
|
i would also open a mc donalds, just to get my meals for free
|
