Newish to the board, so I don't know.. who's from van (bc) and the surrounding area? I gotta find myself some industry parties to go to, i'm sick and tired of hiphop people.

Although if you are a hiphop person, come out to DEVIN THE DUDE on halloween night at richards on richards, where my group "this dance dance revolution will not be televised" will be opening.

err yah. Beyond food and cheap electronics and some hot girls, nothing actually good in Richmond. I go there as little as possible. I was mostly being sarcastic :)

I'm outside of Vancouver (Port Moody) and I just bought a brand new place for a bit less then that... 2400 sq ft, fully finished basement, 2 car garage, ac, built in vac, etc etc.

I thought it was fucking expensive at $680k :(

Selling a house I bought 3 years ago for $260k right now.. for $529k! WTF. Sold my condo in tinseltown at the beginning of the year.. it doubled in price over 5 years...

Real estate is fucking nuts here.
