Wow, that was quite the revelation.
I was just informed that not all of you agree with my POV. How is that possible?
|
who could've been so cruel to tell you that?
|
we may to agree with your POV but we all respect it :)

Generation gap.
I blame liberal child protection laws. Parents not straightening out fucked up children lead to people like Franck. |
Eat shit and die gramps.

I don't have enough relevant posts under my belt to be taken seriously by most. :2 cents:

i was playing racquetball at the gym and some 12-13 year old kid from a group of kids that comes there from a neighboring school for P.E. wanted to play with his friends. I let him use one of my 250.00 racquets. I was playing with my friends in another court and he was just sitting there. all his friends left and he kept sitting there. finally we finished and walked out of the court and he came up to me, shook my hand and thanked me. he was just waiting there, missed his friends who all left just to say thank you in a personal way. i was so completely stunned at how polite he was, that i was at a total loss for words. a woman was standing there looking at me and she kinda laughed and remarked at how it also caught her off guard. then it really hit home... i was thinking "wow... i am shocked and surprised when a kid is polite... things have definately changed since i was 13" |

i was at my friends house the other day and one of his wifes daughters had a friend (about 13yrs old or so) over.. she just walked in, never said hi to anyone, never even took her shoes off and had a generally bitchy attitude like everyone owed her something. they were using his computer and he told them he would need it in 15 minutes just for a few minutes. then he came in 15 minutes and said, "i just need couple minutes to do something" - they both looked at him in total disbelief and the girl says "look! we'll be done pretty soon" and they both continued on like that was normal... then she was in total shock when he hit the power button on the computer and told her to get out of his house right now. she honestly couldn't believe it was happening. when i was that age, there was a strong chance that he would have beat my ass... then sent me home... then called my dad and told him i was coming... then my dad would have beat my ass again... then my dad would have made me call and apologize and then i would have to mow his lawn for a month. :upsidedow |
