I don't think why he did it will affect Republicans at all. The only thing that will affect them is if it gets proven that they knew about it and did nothing. Other than that I can't see how they are responsible for his actions.

The "abuse cycle" is well docmented - but I dont think abuse is the issue - the issue seems to be that he is gay (and a raging hypocrite).

i don;t know the age of concent in the us, so this might be irrelavent but, if its just dirty talk with someone of age of concent, we don;t have to like it but there is nothing illegal about it.

the rupublican party is way better at protecting and seperating itself from anyone who they view as damaging.
