about 75% of the designers on here are flakes

If they don't have something in the next couple of hours I will probably contact you. It may be too late though.

Dude ... she didn't want HIM to name us ... she wanted him to name the BAD designer. Because it tarnsihes all designers.

Designers get a fucking bad wrap. But as I've said before... every fucker that messes people around is an asshole. And I've had PLENTY of webmasters fuck me around. Got one at the mo... we delivered work... it hasn't been paid for ... three weeks later. So... people should remember, not all designers fuck up all the time.

baddog, not sure how 'elaborate' the designs are but if it's anything that requires full CSS functionality - I'd contact jayeff from here or get his info at carpejugular.com - intelligent, experienced and got it before I expected.

If you need very graphical designs, DamageX was also quick and does great work.

They came thru today. All is good.

it seems your designer is in the philippines... a super typhoon hits there.. almost no electricity and internet....

we had a client/designer/friend still doesnt pay us full for almost 8 months now. 3 weeks are damn fine just wait LoL :upsidedow

in able to fix the deadline problem always make your own deadline earlier.

say you want the design to finish on friday, tell your designer to finish on tuesday. this way his delays are acceptable.

this works for me.

yeah, not a bad idea except that we decided to add the Flash at the last minute so we didn't really have time to play around with it . . . of course, it could be that the people that imposed the deadline on us were using your theory. :)
