[Labret] 06-29-2002 07:20 AM

I am pretty damn sure it is a Tech9

http://www.rustedpuffin.com/tech.jpg

This is my "office" gun.

Whats funny is in that picture the woman is at a shooting rage with it, what a fucking joke. It has welded iron sites and if you could hit another human being with it at 30 yards I would be impressed.

I got it for 125 at a gun show, and it is good for what it is. If you just need a gun thats going to dump 30+ rounds of 9mm into something real close that needs no aiming, its the gun for you. I have gone through two firing pins already, they say its a common problem, next time I have to get it replaced with a titanium firing pin.

mjrools23 06-29-2002 07:22 AM

125..thats a great deal

check out local laws since most states wont allow that many rounds in a clip but by far the best gun out there is a MP5 50 round 9mm clip then attach a supressor to that and pretty much your king but to have that you need a federal fire arm licence +

assneck 06-29-2002 10:14 AM

i think its an ab-10. they are pretty cheap nowadays. also that chick looks like she has nice knobs.

Nothing beats orig. Colt Gov .45 :)
-small ( carry everywhere )
-effective ( stops car )
-does it's job unless you are in the local gang war :)

Perfect.

I have a fear of home invasions.

This will be perfect when they come.

I am paranoid of home invasion as well. Maybe a little too much. I have a burglar alarm, but I have no faith in the Detroit PD to make it to me in time. I use it basically as an early warning system to get to my guns.

I have a tec in my office, a glock on my nightstand, a Chinese SKS in my basement, and a shotgun stashed in my closet.

I pray for the day someone tries to enter my home.

Yeah, the LAPD is known for being very prompt as well. Not.

As for the home invasion paranoia, I believe that is the ONLY time I am ever at ease enough to be ambushed.

Out in the world, I am always on guard as if in enemy territory.

The worst crimes I have seen, or at least torture wise are home invasions, and in addition, sure ya know... the worst shit happens to those who do not expect it. Even if prepared, if but a little, the difference could be a big difference.

In california, we are known for leaving our fucking windows open all the time, and often I forget one, I have an even bigger fear of coming home to a robbery in progress or something like that as well.

I am only afraid of things I am unprepared for. It stems from my anxiety I am sure.

Anxiety sucks on all levels.

That's not entirely accurate. my brother owns the mp5k - which is actually the sp-89. He has a legal supressor on it - which he was able to put on it with a $200 tax stamp - plus a lot of paper work. He does [b]not have his FFL![b

However if he wanted to sell it now, he would have to transfer it to a person with their FFL or out of the state to a Class III Dealer.

this pic is an old tech-9, the DCTECH-9 is what is being held in the top picture at the shooting range, i keep one of these under my bed, hollow points with another clip flipped and taped to the clip in use, terrorist style, with a rubber sleeve/grip on the handle...

NitroPhil 06-29-2002 02:08 PM

Do I get extra points for naming the shooting range? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks exactly like Ben Avery shooting facility north of Phoenix, AZ.

toddler 06-29-2002 02:16 PM

sadly, i have no more firearms, my chinese sks went to the highest bidder. am actually in
the market for 2 smallish 9mms, one for
me, one for my wife. am looking at the sigs.

currently however, well, i take my father in laws approach. 1 14" knife under the bed, 1 36" sword behind the bedroom door.

am terribly paranoid about certain things, my wife's safety is high on the list. living in tx now, we're looking seriously at the concealed
carry option for both of us.
