I Describe Florida in One Sentence
 

One big toll road under construction filled with old people and mosquitos the size of humming birds where hurricanes hit.

OK, that's not really a sentence... can anyone add to that?

Na.. Florida is OK apart from the government and hurricanes. Part of the reason for the humidity is the eco-system it once had - sad to see the Everglades and other areas get badly screwed up.

If you want real humidity - pop into a real rainforest :) Still itching from the insect bites from a rainforest trip a couple of days back - but awesome place. Saw three pairs of Red McCaws (estimated there are only approx 600 pairs left in the wild), a few snakes, plenty insect life, many toucans and several groups of monkeys, a couple of crocodiles at the water edge and the ass end of a young jaguar who seemed to be lost and hollering for it's parents.

i was only in florida for 9 days, and that was on the beach in daytona beach, and i liked it...

My ex lives in florida. So I don't like it. Too many memories turned bad.

ok its friggin 90 by 9 in the morning!! half the sofloridians just dont get it and i mean everything in general!! no respect towards other people,laid back work ethic,they always look for a hook up i.e. what can you do for me?? half of em live in a fantasy world i.e. "malibus most wanted" its all about image if you fit in ur good if you dont good luck to ya!.....In all my years here i've found 15 people that make it all worth while and wouldent change a thing! now florida outside dade and broward county is actually ok and enjoyable but im a city boy at heart and i keep going with that in mind:thumbsup :thumbsup

For the most part yes, but as mentioned, there are many cities that cater to the very upscale person.

I lived in Naples my entire life and have lived in Boca Raton and Miami. I now live in Orlando and nothing can compare to the amount of money and the crazy spending that goes on in these cities, no white trash in there.

You need to change where you hang out. ;-)

There is a Florida between Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. It's about as big as Denmark, and you better drive a pickup truck and chew snuff when you go there.
