People attending Costa Rica Bash - Would this interest you?
 

I am considering putting together a small private tour for webmasters before the Costa Rica Show.

We would leave from San Jose airport a few days before the Costa Rica Bash and head to Arenal, a beautiful Volcano with awesome natural hot springs to chill in. The next day we'd head out to the Guanacase province on the North West coast and visit some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa you wouldn't otherwise see and end up back at Jaco for the begining of Costa Rica Bash.

If you might have some interest in this post here and I'll see if there's enough interest to put this together.

That would be the "Arenal" volcano. =)

nice choice of locations for a tour!!

Arenal is a MUST!!!
especially if you're lucky and you see nice eruptions at night....this is an unforgettable experience!
(swimming at cascadas fortunas also right next to it)

and Guanacaste has gorgeous beaches!

I kind of figured you'd be in. One of the hotels I'd suggest we stay in, near Tamnarindo in Guanacaste, has beautiful suites with private pools and is minutes away from a party town. I'll put you down as interested, and get details out as soon as I have enough tentative interest.

No, we'd be staying in fairly nice hotels with rooms ranging from about $150-$400

Tabacon was fucking amazing. The women were beautiful, the drinks strong as fuck, and the nightlife was pimp.

It's too bad Jaco is the most convenient place to host a weekend event for foreigners... There are so many nicer places. Everyone who comes should really book 10 days and explore more of the country :)

p.s. I almost died last time I was in Arenal... the fucking hotsprings waterfall is no joke, if you are at the point closest to the source they have a warning sign, I got shoved over and almost plumetted 12 feet to the next pool (all carved out of granite).

Totally agree fuzebox - and get out of San Jose and the into the heart of the real country - even places not known for tourism, - they are often better than "tourist hotspots".

And before you say it - yea, I do get out of the Escazu concentration camp on occasion :winkwink:
