Shaving question

Any guys out there shave their chest and below and get ingrown hairs around the waist line? Everytime I shave right along there, i get a bunch of ingrown hairs and its quite disgusting.

Anyway to prevent this? :Oh crap

Been shaving my chest and genitals for quite some time now, lol. Not gonna happen anytime soon. I hate hair.

However, my legs will never been shaved...again at least :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I have found that I usually only get razor burn when I shave "against the grain". If I shave in downward stroke only, it seems to not cause irritation. Ok, that was my homo-erotic post of the day :)

Dirty Dane 10-02-2006 11:56 AM

Most "webmasters" here are too young to shave :upsidedow

I do shave down, but still get the ingrown hairs. Its not really an irritation, you can see the damn hair inside the red bump..LOL

Been thinking about this actually. I heard its about 200-300 per session and you've got to go for a few sessions. Any ideas on this?

Kimo 10-02-2006 12:10 PM

That's not bad for permanent removal. I was told it would take roughly 3 sessions to get rid of it.

aico 10-02-2006 12:18 PM

use an electric razor.

I dont get much hairs yet

ruth 10-02-2006 12:21 PM

Exfoliate! :thumbsup Be brave and go by some girly exfoliator product and use it in the shower. That'll stop ingrown hairs.
I know a couple of people that have gone in for laser removal and given up it was so painful!:eyecrazy

SlamDesigns 10-02-2006 12:28 PM

Metrosexual, are we?

Hmm....I'll have to try that.

Metro? Quite possibly..:winkwink:

TheDoc 10-02-2006 02:07 PM

Use clippers rather than a razor. Nice and clean looks better than razor bumps and ingrown hairs.

thatwebguyjosh 10-02-2006 02:36 PM

TendSkin solution might reduce your irritation in the meantime... it's a good exfoliator. remember if your exfoliating, make sure to MOISTURIZE...

please don't nair your balls. hate to imagine a nasty burn....

V_RocKs 10-02-2006 04:26 PM

After shaving the area walk around with a robe only for about 1 to 2 hours... This allows the microscopic nicks to form microscopic scabs so your natural microscopic sweat doesn't irritate the skin.
