Make a webpage about anything. Paste your Google Adsense code into your page. Submit it to search engines and other free traffic sources.

Repeat until wealthy.

Google "deathofadsense". It's a "has-been" idea now.

Pipeline Q 10-02-2006 06:07 AM

i haven't played around with it too much, but i'm going to start soon on one of my sites. i've heard it really depends on the industry of the website. you know, some surfers go looking for specific content and then back out. others are more click happy in their visit to your site.

but seriously , yes its called a special program its not a claim its reality..

i seem to remember something about having to have a million hits a day or something to qualify , i could be totally wrong though but basically i think its for like domain companies and shit

How i noticed it was i was looking at a link somehwhere and the domain had expired , and network solutions had one of those " fake search engine " type sites that they put up on expired domains, anyways it was loaded with adult ads and i noticed hmm its google adsense. so i contacted google and asked why they let network solution advertise adult , and they explained the program type and what requirements are needed

here is one truth about making money online with adsense, adwords and ppc in general.

those that know don't talk about it much.
those that know... definately don't write books about it.

smokey... you are talking about adwords for parked domains.. not adsense.

SmokeyTheBear 10-02-2006 08:21 AM

aha here it is .. http://www.google.com/domainpark/

now keep in mind this doesnt mean users can setup ads on adult sites per se , it means they can park domains and point them to adsense

Smokey is right, Google lets the high traffic rollers slide.

Young 10-02-2006 08:24 AM

You need millions of pages or a scam to get unknowing nitwits to click on ads.

First time I hear of this.

I know about the premium publisher status when you push 30+ Million pageviews a month (which comes close to your story), which allows you to modify the appearance of your G ads to blend it in your site content. digg.com does that, for example.

I never knew they allowed premium publishers to use their ads on adult pages.

They let all sort of things slide when you send thousands of clicks to their program. And you dont have to be a premium publisher, either. :thumbsup

This is incorrect. I emailed them three days ago and got my response two minutes ago. My question was very specific: "Do you allow adult websites in your AdWords program?" The answer is in spanish, so I'll translate the important parts.

I'm enquiring now if these AdWords ads will only show on search results or if they will also be displayed on pages running AdSense.

jigg 10-02-2006 09:18 AM

Adwords is not the same as AdSense

fris 10-02-2006 09:20 AM

whats this google you speak of

jigg 10-02-2006 09:20 AM

They will show only if the advertiser tells it to i.e. an AdWords Site Targeted campaign

QuaWee 10-02-2006 09:22 AM

I'm aware of this, but my logic points to one place: if they allow adult AdWords, where are they going to place them but in search results and people's sites running AdSense?
