Both industries have been targeted and hurt many times. They adapt and grow again.

Well, not ALL of the rest of the world, but you make a good point.

Dirty Dane 10-02-2006 04:42 AM

Its hurted already - many times

karlm 10-02-2006 05:27 AM

True but this gambling thing seems like quite big deal getting alot of news coverage in the uk

Pipeline Q 10-02-2006 06:36 AM

how is the gambling ban coverage on US news? I haven't been able to watch TV much the past few days. it didn't seem like a big issue on the news sites.

i don't think the gov meant any harm in banning it here. between the risk of fraud and loss of tax dollars, they banned it. as i said in another thread, it'll be back when they officially legalize it here for US based physical casinos. i know that will happen.

E$_manager 10-02-2006 06:40 AM

May be. Didn't you know that adult is diyng?

Pipeline Q 10-02-2006 06:44 AM

should also add that online gambling is/was a $4 Billion a year export in the US since there are no online casinos based here. this is why i believe casino states will push for leaving it up to them. that's bigtime tax revenues. not only from the casino owners but also taxes from winnings.

E$_manager 10-02-2006 07:15 AM

What would do such casino cities as Las Vegas?

Barefootsies 10-02-2006 07:38 AM

They can talk all they want to get reeleted, but nothing will change, except for the locations of the companies.

:2 cents:

If they do the same to adult we are fuckt, 95% of the sales come from the States

scottybuzz 10-02-2006 08:47 AM

well. i doubt so, but if it did, it would have serious implications for all adult webmasters I think

emjay 10-02-2006 09:23 AM

Aren't more and more states in the USA legalising (offline) casinos or still just Nevada?

Boats, cruises and Indian Reservations are where most people seem to gamble outside of NV.

OzMan 10-02-2006 09:31 AM

Since you made a typo in your topic, I 'm not going to answer your question
