How can someone be in business if they can't spell?
 

...or at least run spell check. Now I'm not talking so much about the message boards, but emails, site text, press releases, articles, etc.

Many companies will throw your resume away if they see any spelling mistakes!

Reason for this topic is I just received a press release with at least one misspelled word per paragraph. If people can't take the time to send me a professionally put together release should I take the time to post it?

Inform them there are many spelling errors and ask if could correct this and re-send to you.

but we can't expect to much from the 16 year old webmasters. it is only natural that a 16 year old webmaster would have the sense of humour (if any) of a 16 year old.

I've done that a couple times. The guy replied back saying he sucks at spelling and "oh well". LOL. Makes you wonder.

It really makes you laugh when sponsor sites have real easy words spelled real funny. I always hope they can sell better than they can spell.
