Just back from seeing it. Very good..a proper film if that makes sense. Easily the grittiest I have seen London portrayed in a long time and at the same time actually look like London and not Hollywood London. Anyway, if you like apocalyptic type movies and don't require films to all be feel good it is very worth checking out.

Agreed, good overall film but maybe a little boring at times.

just saw on imdb it doesn't reach the States until December..weird

I thought that too... the UK gets a movie first? Very odd indeed!

Maybe it actually is a British movies vs the usual where it is Hollywood money but British accents.

The director was the guy who also made Y Tu Mama Tambien! This guy has range!

I have actually had Y Tu Mama Tambien sitting here for weeks waiting for me to watch it. I think I will pop it in this afternoon.

I saw it the other week I would say one of the best films of the year!!

Anything with Julianne Moore and Clive Owen, I watch.

The only reason I saw The Pink Panther was because Owen played a James Bond type character. Is it just me or is Clive would've made a brilliant James Bond?

Alfonso Cuaron is also a draw for me. :-)

From all accounts he was in the running for Bond but didn't want to do it because it would stop him doing most other films while he was bond
