Serious everyone uses IE so millions of people finding exploits and whatnot.

I use IE rarely because there a ton of annoying things that plague the browser/mail while netscape runs fine for me.

Last week people were bitching like babes about sound files playing at GFY - with netscape I didn't hear them. LOL

Since there is reasonable doubt as to whether he intended to have it cause damage is debatable. There is a redirect service and those services are notorious for using these auto download scripts.

That's the only point of my post. Your reference to "lame assed people who never stand up...etc" does not apply since there is doubt as to the person's culpability to begin with.

I agree with the ban however it's possible in IE to just turn off
autodownloading and install stuff on your desktop. And the
reason why I use IE and not other any other browser is the
simple fact that 99.9% of all my users/customers use that
browser....

1) Act and intent analysis are always used to determine culpability in a rational, civil, and educated society. If that's unrealistic then what do you propose as an alternate standard? Lynchings, mob rule, whoever can scream the loudest, whoever has the most money? 2) Yes, I've heard of manslaughter. There is still an intent component, it is lower mens rea requirement--recklessness. This is lower than the MALICE needed for murder. Just because the intent requirement is lower, does not mean there is NO intent requirement.
