the gfy SEO PROJECT $$$$

I thought of an awesome idea last night while falling asleep..

You need to know just the basics about seo to understand this but you dont need any seo knowledge to use this.

One of the most important aspects of seo is links , cant stress this enough..

So i invented a tool to give everyone free non-recip (=important) backlinks , and give users lots of inbound links.

this is how the script works , you upload it to a directory and people can link to it to give themselves backlinks, the script holder gets important inboundlinks as well as backlinks created and the user gets free backlinks..

heres an example url

http://ytmnd.webspacemania.com/0porn...porno.com.html

notice the url points to an html page named

Porno~www.porno.com.html

to give yourself a free backlink simply replace Porno with your desired keyword and www.porno.com with your website ( if your pointing directly to an url ending in .html rename it .xml ) and drop a link somewhere

ytmnd.webspacemania.com/0porn/Your+Keyword~www.yoursite.com.html

the script checks your site for the top keyword , makes a page and a link to your site.. , when google comes around to this thread ( or to any page you have dropped a link) it will spider the link and you will get a free backlink ( remember you dont want recip links so dont drop a link to the script on a page that leads back to itself = recip )

That simple..

But of course you want more than 1 backlink and you want lots of inbound links and thats where gfy comes in.. if we could get a few hundred people running this script or even a few thousand we would all have tons of relevant backlinks.. and i think start dominating some search results :) = $$$$

So i would like to hear some feedback from fellow seo'ers and non-seo'ers , and if lots of people are interested i will give away the script to use and setup a database of people using the script so we can all make tons of backlinks..( and $$$ of course )

SmokeyTheBear 09-30-2006 01:11 PM

more examples of how you use it

gfy http://ytmnd.webspacemania.com/0porn...w.gfy.com.html

msn http://ytmnd.webspacemania.com/0porn...w.msn.com.html

Fizzgig 09-30-2006 01:15 PM

I'm very interested! Count us in.
It might be better to use keyphrases to avoid duplicate content though?

FuqALot 09-30-2006 01:17 PM

i think its a nice idea,

but be careful with this (vulnerable),

for example (execution of java):

http://ytmnd.webspacemania.com/0porn...ipt%3E~hi.html

FuqALot 09-30-2006 01:19 PM

I see you fixed it now, but xss is big, and there are other ways around this ;-D

its better than a backlink from nothing.. :)

there is no such thing as shity site in terms of seo , its either relevent or not..

go search google for some porn terms and check their backlinks..

This isnt a miracle cure make money from nothing get top rank script.

This is for people that already get some exisiting hits to increase those hits GREATLY..

ChrisAnubis 09-30-2006 03:38 PM

Fucksakes 09-30-2006 03:40 PM

scottybuzz 09-30-2006 03:42 PM

smokey the bear, I love the idea, I would definitley be up for it.

But a Questuon from a seo noob here.

Cant you just make lots of pages on your domain

(yourwebsite/pages.html. E.g. /porno1.html, porno2.html, porno3.html)

and all link them to your main page, including each page having loads of keywords?

thx. I probably missed something out but could you confirm that I am wrong.

the value of the links in the footer is debatable

The value of anything in relation to SEO is debatable ... impossible to truly prove and more importantly susceptible to change.

I like the thought behind it, but everyone should spend more time on good content ... really, don't laugh I'm serious. :)

Splum 09-30-2006 05:10 PM

Good content + a solid SEO strategy and experimentation = $$$

if they are done as straight links , but that part would be fully up to the person to customize how they want , they could add keyword relevent matches to the bottom or random links.. ( i understand what your saying though because every page would have identical links )

emthree 09-30-2006 07:31 PM

I'm having a blond moment.
Please give me a second to digest.

loreen 10-04-2006 05:13 AM

bump for a nice idea

djroof 10-04-2006 05:29 AM

nice.....

jayeff 10-04-2006 05:48 AM

As you point out, "The value of anything in relation to SEO is debatable", but this is essentially a common black-hat technique and although it can work, it usually only does so for a few weeks before the domains start being banned. And because few if any of the sites involved are considered authoritative, it depends entirely on massive numbers to be effective.

In theory you could get enough participants, but until/if you did, I have a strong suspicion that the risk would be much greater than the potential reward.

A neat bit of scripting for all that :)

StarkReality 10-04-2006 05:48 AM

Amazing idea, the problem I see is the possible abuse of trademarks, for example someone could use the keywords "Playboy" or "Hustler" and link to Penthouse.com. Or even worse, add links to illegal sites, use questionable keywords.

It's a great idea, but even with a monster blacklist, there are still many ways for people to "create" pages on your site you wouldn't want to be responsible for...

thats why i put a linking thing on the bottom so people could complain if a page was in violation

Well see i kind of had that in mind, as being more of a "tool" so you make it clear the page is built around the tool. Kind of like whois.sc lets you point to whois.sc/yourdomain.com and thus gives you a backlink.

I also though about the tool being used maliciously like if people spam blogs with your domain you might get in trouble.. but as long as its built properly ( or laid out properly ) i dont think that should be a problem.

Marshal 10-04-2006 07:52 AM

did you ever think about this: your page has no inbound links (= PR0)... :)

StarkReality 10-06-2006 07:36 AM

If you place your inbound links in the template (when the script runs on your server), pointing to your mainpage, you'll get PR and linkpop...

Wrong . every page you are creating has one inbound link thats the only way google see's it , se's wont see the page if your just typing it into your address bar..

in the example link above , this thread is the inbound link. google will eventually come along to this thread , follow the link to in my post = 1 inbound link they will then spider the page and find its link out to porno.com = 1 backlink.. :thumbsup

fris 10-06-2006 08:15 AM

you run ytmnd? or you just used that for a sub
