the reason Borat is so funny is because the idiots he 'interviews' and interacts with believe he is really some reporter from Khazikstan - no way can regular people act as well as the people in the Borat videos do. This movie is going to be huge - everybody once the movie marketing machine is in full gear will know he's just a comedian - he'll never be able to catch people off guard again - the end of Borat.

Stephen Colbert still gets interviews. Everyone knows his schtick. The difference is that "Borat" finds obscure people in odd places, generally.

Same thing happened to Tom Green, to a lesser extent. He used to go out and act like an idiot on the streets and at the end he had groups of teenagers running around beside him trying to get on camera.

Funny to see him now basically grasping at any little acting parts he can get hold of.
