HELP thread! Registerfly took my domains
 
So, the story begin 2 months ago...

Regfly was changing their sistem, (to become direct registrar or something like this) and at least I didnt know about this changing...I was traveling for 2 weeks, so when I got inet, I saw the mail I had to renew one of my domains, coz after a week it expires... ok... trying trying and trying to renew it for 3 days - nothing, no "congrats" msg mail or something, no money took from my credit card, no reply from the support, there were 2 days until my domain expires... OK I though - "I'm in other country its normal to not accept my cc coz of the foreign IP", I asked a guy I know and he was in icq then (and I trust him) to renew it - the same like my story - no mail, nothing...

After few days, I recieved a mail "your domain is renewed", and explaining from the support that they were changing their sistem... "OK" I thought - "everything is ok, but you charged both of the cards for this domain - mine, and my friend card, I'm not guilty that you couldnt renew the domain on time and didnt send a msg that the payment is processed, or the sistem is changing, so you can at least return the money on one of the cards"... They returned the money to my card - not my friend card (which actually was my mistake, I didnt write them to return the money to the other card - but hell - its just 8$ !!!)

And everybody was happy until the last month -

ALL OF MY DOMAINS WAS GONE !!!! and transferred to the registerfly account... so my account was EMPTY!!!
When I log in it just gave me - fraud protecton - 8$ 25$ 100$ write mail here, call this number...

"OK" I thought, after few mails with no answer I called (I wasnt in usa then)... I called... And again... and again...
and after 2 days trying to contact them, and waiting the last try 28 minutes!!!!!!!!!! (I wasnt in usa - dont forget) I reached the phone support (wow!!! waht a success) ... we were talking about 10 minutes (for which he said about 20 times "I cant do anything" (why the hell is this guy there then !!!!!!))...and you have chargeback was the other thing he said, so he explained me to write my credit card info down, to sign a paper from risk.regfly that I'm allowing them to charge my card with over a hundred bucks for a domain (YES! 109 $ for one domain - just coz the chargeback)...
"OK" I thought... I filled the paper with a pen (yes, they want it with a pen) wrote down my credit card info, gave them my sign there, and sent it...

And I was waiting... and waiting... and waiting...

And nothing happened...
(meanwhile I was sending emails every day - no reply)

And today I can see that one of my domains (JUST ONE) and exactly the domain with highest pagerank is pushed on sedo... yeah... the others are still showing their content...
the same domain I refused offer for four digits price...
the same domain which expires after few weeks...

and yes - I cant get in touch to them by phone... neither tru email...

WHAT THE FUCK I CAN DO????!!!

I did everything they wanted!

Jesus, I have few domains there, I guess it's time to move them. If they can't keep thier shit straight in an upgrade how in the world can you trust them with one of your prized domains.

fucking hell thats shiiit man specially if your income depending on this.. Can't you take this kind of things to court???

i suggest godaddy never had any problems with them ...

I know very little about register fly, or their practices or services, but one thing I know quite a bit about is Merchant Accounts.

You expect a company to be willing to work with you anything after you put them through the painful chargeback process? :2 cents:

Sorry to hear about problems you guys are experiencing.

Although announcing your complaint here provides exposure to (possible) unethical business practices and keep others from falling prey to them, it won't really resolve your problems.

I suggest filing a complaint with Internic:

it' nice to try to help us but really,
how can we stay cool (.pdf thing ...) when THEY do not do the job we pay them for ?
and it's not to annoy anyone, got a wife and a baby , and if i lose domain names, we all starve

I understand what you're saying and can imagine how you feel. I'm just suggesting that if you go the official complaint route (e.g., with InterNIC) you may want to try to keep your complaint professional rather than emotional. I would say chances are better that you'll be taken more seriously as a serious business person that stands to loose a lot, which may be essential to a favorable outcome.

Likewise, the saying goes: You catch more flies with honey...
