that should do pretty well
|
Good name.
|
Yes, it is.
We had ALOT of tire kickers. So, now it is on the block.. to be sold once and for all. |
so whats the going price now ?
last time it was 25k :) |

But, now, it is for sale to highest bidder, with NO RESERVE. :) |
High bid is now $510 --not bad for the first few hours of the auction!
:) |
good luck :thumbsup :thumbsup
|
Current bid $760.
|
Not a bad domain. I wonder how far this one will go up.
|
good luck ......nice one
|
I think you will get around 2 K for it. Just my idea on it.
|
Here is how I look at the possible outcomes of this auction and the eventual price:
Under $20,000 --a steal $20,000-49,000 --a fair price $50,000-99,000 --a great price $100,000+ --proves the power of a great potential brand and a great keyword I have seen corporations pay up to $250k for a good brand name. A good adult site is definitely in the same ballpark for profitability as a decent new product. Although, you won't find many adult companies that focus much on their brands, which is odd, because there are some incredible branding successes in adult, such as Playboy (R). Anyway, it will be interesting to see the outcome. |

I think that would be a super steal, but you never know. :2 cents: :2 cents: |
$760 with over 6 days to go.
This could get quite big... :thumbsup |
Don't know daddyhalbucks, milflovers, milfpounders, milffuckers, milfbangers and then you have milffucker, milflover, milfpounder and so on.
I will keep an eye on that auction. |
I don't really see what makes this domain worth $20-$40k, but good luck with the sale... :thumbsup

potential / brandable: "with the right person" "with the right money" any freakin domain can work with right person/money... you have to look at what the domain is worth, not what it can be worth IF the right person/investor does with it... 3 figures tops imo :2 cents: |

...every kid in the school would get an A --or they'd all get an F. ...the branding companies Naming Systems, Master-McNeil, Igor International, Interbrand, and most advertising agencies.. would all be out of business. ...I could offer Playboy(R) $1000 for www.playboy.com --and they would immediately accept. BTW, as a matter of fact, "3 figures" is less than I paid. :1orglaugh |

Considering they woudn't take anything unbder $20K before I wonder if the highest bid is significantly less they'll somehow get out of actually accepting that bid |
Quote:
google, yahoo, boingboing, etc... :winkwink: what were these names before what they were... nothing special |
Quote:
;) |
I need to ebay some of my domains sitting around. Just to see what happens.

What makes it special is that it would make a great brand. Moreover, it has a great keyword. :winkwink: |
ebay marketing plus the tie-in here is smart.
given this scenario my guess (if not withdrawn) it will go somewhere between $2500-4000. and i hope it brings that much. because if it does, i will start using ebay for domains. good luck. this will be interesting. |
It will not be withdrawn. This domain will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of the price.
|
The current bid is $1,025.
Not bad at all, especially considering the auction is less than a day old. :) |

extremely good. if bidders are not shills you will see most activity the final 3 minutes |
Why is there a few bidders bidding back to back to back raising themselves? I see one bidder taking it from $25 to $100 with 4 bids in a row. Then I see another bidder take the bid from $100 to $400 with 2 bids back to back. Then I see another bidder take it from $750 to $900 with 4 more back to back bids. Why would someone raise the bid on themselves like that? Seems a little fishy to me.

that is the signature of shill bidding. |
nice name, I think I will give a shot at it. But I have one question for you, what are the total number of visitors the domain name gets on a daily basis?

then the item will not actually change hands. not saying that there are shill bidders in this case. but early run up with lots of activity on a fresh item especially listed as no reserve can indicate shill bidding. saavy ebay buyers (real buyers) do not tip their hand early in the game, they usually watch the item in the last minutes, and run multiple computers to make multiple bids in the final seconds. |
Quote:
Not really. In many auction formats it's a sign bidder B is bumping bidder A's previous bid up to a limit set by bidder A. :2 cents: |
Let the Big Daddy hype train begin.

Sheesh, GFY can be a tough crowd sometimes. There is no shill bidding. Bidders do strange enough things on their own.
Dunno on traffic, assume none. It is being sold as "domain only" with no guarantee or warrantee of traffic. |
6 days left and already 21 bids? Whats the fucking point? I never understand that.
