Should I do this? I'm considering it after reading Donny's last thread.

I have a cousin who is a minister of a medium size church which is located in a place that reminds me of Little House on the Prairie.

This Cousin is a two-faced backstabbing fuck who uses "God" to justify the fucked up things that he does.

Now.......I'm thinking that I need to put on a nice suit, go to his church on Sunday, and tell the entire congregation who I am, what I do for a living, and how my cousin has treated me because of it.

Perhaps I should also tell them how he has tried to talk my head fucked Grandmother out of her money for the church even though she does not attend or have anything to do with church.

I wonder how quickly they will forgive me for my sins?

Religions are a cult. PURE AND SIMPLE.

More people are killed over their religious beliefs than anything else.

Oooooooh -- yes! Do it! And post the video on youtube.

AaronM 09-29-2006 11:09 AM

With that said....

Donny is my friend and I know how he treats his son. Caden is the only reason that I see as justifiable for this decision and I can very much respect that.

Religion in today's society is wrong... believing in something or someone isn't.

You don't have to be a part of a religion to believe in something.

Don't look outwards to some stupid religion. Look within yourself. That's where God is. Once you look within, you won't just believe in God, you'll believe in yourself.

One of my friends was going to read a bunch of sermons and load them into a site where you could download a sermon to your PC for $2.99/ea. Don't think he ever did it though! :1orglaugh

I vote for doing it. Religion aside, that would be funny as Hell.

MaDalton 09-29-2006 11:20 AM

i quit church as soon as i was 18 and was allowed to decide that on my own. do i believe in god? barely.
do i believe in something out there that we cannot comprehend? maybe

but the church itself is just a huge ripoff show with clowns and bullshit artists that mostly just care for themselves. in every religion.

you don't need them to believe in something :2 cents:

I figure it's only right for me to give back to him exactly what he has given to me. Ridicule, criticism, and disrespect.

Turn about is fair play, right?

Here's another thought...

Maybe I should join his church, not say anything to the masses, and recruit talent from there.

Now we're talking. :thumbsup

Well said. I agree 100%.

Most people go to church to look good in each others eyes, not to look good to God.

if you do decide to go forward with it, PLEASE get it on video. That would be priceless :)

"When I do good, I feel good; when I do bad, I feel bad. That?s my religion." -- Abraham Lincoln

That about sums it up.

Any chance this guy could have got elected in this age?

Do it.. I would.. (something similar got me kicked out of more than one church, nothing rankles me like religious hypocracy).

So fucking true. :thumbsup

Most people are only really religious when it is advantageous to them, playing the religion card when it can get them out of trouble or help them beat someone else to something.
