So i had an awesome fucking idea but its already been done...
 

about golf...

basically i thought up of having a tracker in each golf ball, then when you go to the range you get a bucket of balls categorized as A6 or whatever

you also have a computer screen beside you to tell you how far each ball you shot went, what kind of curve the balls has and some other stuff...

the whole course is a big grid, thats how the ball gets tracked

fucking shit, i could have been a milionaire

but...the idea isnt everywhere yet, im not sure why

anywho, if you like my idea go ahead and take it, ill only want 5% :pimp

i get the odd genius idea everynow and then
a year later someone else does it... like the post office smsing u when ut mail in you gpo box, so u dont drive an hour to the city for nada... now they chrge monthly for the service
my problem is never enuff startup $ for a huge idea.. or no access to company involved [like post office idea]

why take 5% when you can take all of it?

not sure about other countries, but in australia you can get a GPO box to have ur mail sent to...its located at the post office.

so i got this idea when i was living 80km from the city and i had to travel everyday to the city to check the box...

i figured it would be better if, everyday when they sort the box mail at 5am,if you got mail thry would sms text message ur cell, so u didnt waste time travelling int city... most oost offices in australian cities are THE center of town, u never get a parking space for miles, its hell.

anyhow, couple of years later friends back home tell me Australia Post now offer this But they charge a monthly fee (on top of regular box fees).

another idea of mine was hand print id at atm and eftpos machines because i always loose my card... someone developed it soon after but it never caught on...guess peeps aee scared of getting their hands sliced off by muggers :1orglaugh

I like that idea, its a golf fanatics dream. Where have you seen it done? Only barrier I see is that the up front costs would be very high and most driving ranges aren't exactly cash cows. I could see something like that going over very well in Japan where golf and technology are very popular.

The problem with an "invention" is the capital for the tooling, physical location, inventory, marketing, media buying, and mass distribution. You are looking at $$ millions in costs.

That's why the internet is such a better place to do business. Sell a digital product like porn with much lower startup costs and faster larger returns. The internet is your distribution pipeline.
