Now you too can crash Internet Explorer, using only CSS!
We all know that IE doesn't know how to render CSS well, but this is just fucked up.
http://www.sitening.com/blog/2006/09...with-only-css/ And yeah, it did end up crashing IE 6.x here on my XP SP2 installation. Groovy. Here's a :thumbsup for Microsoft. :1orglaugh |
shocking... that's why I use firefox :thumbsup
Works fine in my IE6 here.
i only use firefox now :)
:thumbsup for firefox :)
Works with my IE version 6.0.2900.2180 for some mouse moves and then just freezes the displayed webpage. But it doesn't crash.
People still use IE? Jesus Christ.

yes, because it works and its safer than firefox. Fuck you and your "firefox and linux is safer" crap - its not. It all comes down to the person behind the computer. if you feel safer using firefox, so do it - but that dont mean IE is unsafe. I loaded the mentioned code on my XP Sp1 IE6 - and had NO problem |

A webmaster not using IE means that he doesn't know how 80% of the surfers see his site.
I use firefox.

Fine in IE7. So sick of the trendwhores with FF and especially the super elite trendwhores (know 2 or 3 on this board) using shit like Opera. Die all of you.
yup there is a site for this www.crashie.com but like solid bob said it all is fixed in ie 7 ;)

And yes, I do test all pages in all browsers to make sure that the end user can access it without any trouble, but the hoops you have to jump through because Microsoft's IE builders are lazy or just outright defiant is ridiculous. It has nothing to do with trendy...it has to do with useability. |
One for reason why i dont use explorer anymore.
