Cheap domain name + free url forwarding + meta tags???
Hi
I need to renew some of my domains, and I want to get it cheap, for some of them I also need url forwarding but I need it to have meta tags option as well, I know some places that are cheap and have url forwarding but without the meta tags option, and I know some that are expensive that have the meta tags... but as I said expensive... Does anybody know? Thanks :rasta |

I'm pretty satisfied with www.namecheap.com. They do have URL forwarding, but what do you mean by saying Meta tags? Aren't they put in html files? what do they have to do with a domain registrar then?
Also, never register through registerfly.com. They steal your money and never replay to your emails so beware. |
Try godaddy.com
They even threw in body tags for me as well. |

By saying meta tags I mean this: when you forward a domain most of the registrators will do one of two things: 1)They will forward it directly to the site you specified or 2)They will forward it using a frame so the user won't see the real url that is being forwarded to (masked forwarding, cloacked...) There are some registrators that also allow you to define some meta tags such as keywords, description, title etc... this helps you rank better on se, cause some search engines will not see the meta tags of the page you are redirecting to, only the meta tags of the first page (the redirection page). Anyway thanks for replying and for the advice about registerfly. FATpad Thanks about godaddy advice, I know them, they are cheap but the problem they are charging 9$ for redirection, so if I use them I will be paying something like 19$... which is a lot, I know places that I can do the registration + the forwarding with the meta tags around 15$... I am looking for a price around 8-10$... Cause I have more than one domain :-) |
You could try using a cheap as registrar and then use soemthing like ZoneEdit.
They have web forwarding with cloaking. They give you 5 domains free and then it is about $4 a domain per year. That will give you a fairly cheap solution. Jayson |
Thanks man I will check it out...

Well
I have checked it, zoneedit offers a free DNS account for those who interested, this includes free url forwarding, but the problem is that they charge around 10$ for title and meta tags... which is more than I am willing to pay... :( Anyway again, if someone knows a good and cheap registrator that offers a url forwarding with meta tags please let me know... |
